The clown-and-puppet show The Cow on the Moon, inspired by the picture book by Dušan Vukotić, brings a warm, humorous, and imaginative space adventure that fits inside a single suitcase. From it, the storyteller and puppeteer unfolds a small world of stories, puppets, and clowning moments, leading the audience on a journey all the way to the Moon, where nothing is impossible.
The performance is mobile and adaptable to a variety of spaces – it can be staged in parks, courtyards, squares, public lawns, or theatres. Once the suitcase is opened, any place becomes a stage. At the heart of the story are Branka Svemirka, Darko Darkec – also known as Darkaut the Astronaut – and the irresistible Cow on the Moon. Their adventures come to life through puppetry, storytelling, and interaction with children, creating a playful little cosmic circus. The performance lasts 30 minutes and is intended for children and everyone who enjoys gentle humour, imagination, and theatrical play.
