In this play, Little Red Riding Hood does not go through the forest to visit her grandmother, but through heavy traffic. The danger she faces is an inattentive driver and a car — a wolf that can endanger her, even if she does everything right and crosses the road at a pedestrian crossing when the light is green.
The performance cleverly teaches children to always look left–right–left when crossing the street. This educational play is an excellent opportunity to learn traffic rules and the proper behaviour of all road users.
Since 2007, this Max Theatre production Little Red Riding Hood in Traffic has been performed 550 times across Croatia. The recording of the performance on YouTube has over 134,000 views. Due to great interest, it has been brought back to the stage of Max Theatre, with the revival premiere taking place on 26 September 2025.
This artistic organisation is active in the fields of theatre, music and stage arts, film, and visual arts. It is engaged in the creation and performance of professional and amateur theatre productions, the organisation of and participation in artistic festivals; the production of documentary, feature, and experimental films; and the empowerment of children and young people through artistic activities. The headquarters of Max Theatre is in Zaprešić, where it also runs an active acting drama studio attended by around one hundred children, young people, and adult members.
