Book promotion: WHERE COULD MY NOSE HAVE GONE* by Slobodanka Martan (for children and adults)
Where My Nose Could Have Gone, a collection of puppet plays by the author Slobodanka Martan from Bjelovar, is the first book published by the Bjelovar Theater. It was promoted this year on March 21st on World Puppetry Day and World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People.
“The texts are appropriate for a children’s audience,” wrote in the preface the academic actress, puppeteer and director Marijana Matoković, “but they carry strong messages for all ages, so that no adult reader can remain indifferent. Therefore, I, as a puppeteer and director, cheer that there will be as many opportunities as possible for more texts like this that encourage and motivate, because I believe that the values promoted by the author Slobodanka Martan can make the world even more beautiful.”
The collection has ten plays written in prose and rhyming verses and five plays have already been staged.
