Art Organisation from Vinkovci and the Osijek Academy of Arts and Culture. The students of the Department of Creative Technologies were invited to make puppet installations as part of a one-week workshop and exhibit them as part of the 25th Puppetry Spring in 2020. The workshop’s topic was the design and making of puppets from recycled wood. Puppets-installations were designed to adorn open spaces all over the city and to bring joy to passers-by, i.e., to leave galleries and theatres and present themselves to a wider audience. As part of the PIF, they will be decorating Cultural Center Travno Foyer from September 17th to September 23rd.

Workshop instructors and mentors were Dejan Duraković and Ria Trdin. The workshop was attended by undergraduate students of Design for Theatre, Film and Television.

The Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek is a stimulating, provocative and creative place of study for all future students who want to acquire knowledge in the field of music, drama, applied and visual arts, as well as media culture and cultural management. It was created in 2018 by merging the Academy of Arts in Osijek and the Department of Cultural Studies within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek and is the legal successor of both institutions. University bachelor's degree, masters and phD degree artistic and scientific studies are carried out at the Academy, and top artistic creativity and scientific research work are equally developed.
