A SIMPLE STORY, Lale.Theatre, Poland (4+)
In the beginning there was Raj (Paradise): A house. A garden. A dad, a mom, a child. The sun was shining. The dog barking. Everything was working. Later, a cloud appeared. The black cloud. Somewhere far away, no one had noticed it. Time passed. The clouds were coming, and, suddenly, the storm broke. An earthquake. There was a change. Finally, everything was gone. Nothing ensued. Emptiness. How do we deal with it? Will the sky ever sees the sun? A child's face - a smile? A Simple Story. This story, like many others. A little sad, a little cheerful. The emotions that come and go. And the things that remain. This wordless spectacle is derived from the theatre form. Two actors, an intimate space, puppets and decorations à la planchette, music - all of this adds up to this theatrical laboratory in which the child gets a chance to get to know his own emotions.
